What is the recommended routine maintenance for an MLA pipette?
(1) Remove, clean, inspect and replace the nozzle insert as needed. (2) Wipe down the outer surfaces of the pipette with a soft cloth or tissue dampened with water to remove any dirt or powder residue from glove. (3) ·Lubricate the plunger and replace the inner seals as needed.

Yes. All MLA pipettes, except those with a selectable volume feature, can be easily calibrated by the user. The recommended procedure can be found under User Documentation.

Are parts available for MLA pipettes?
Disposables and accessories such as nozzle inserts and seal kits are available for purchase in the Product area of this web site under “MLA Pipettes & Tips”. Parts, such as nozzle assemblies or plungers are not available. However, when sending the pipette to VistaLab Technologies for calibration, any parts needed are replaced at no additional charge.
